Remapping keys
Hey all, is it possible to remap keys at all? In 15 years of using Mac OS, I have never used the fn key ever once. I'd like to remap it to "delete" if possible. Any advice? Thanks!
MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

I don't think you can do what you want without a macro app like Keyboard Maestro. However, the Fn key can't be used except when using the F keys.
With Keyboard Maestro you can select any key combination, like Command + Space to be Delete in just the Firefox app. This is what it would look like:
I have over 100 macros in KM ranging from opening apps to inserting standard text into documents/posts, etc. IMO it's my most valuable, and used app.
What do you mean by "Delete"?
Do you mean just moving the mac backspace function from the <- key to the fn key?
Or do you mean adding a windows type "forward delete" key?
If you mean the latter then hold fn while using the <- backspace key
(your first use of the fn key in 15 years) maybe?)
I'm trying to do bi because one of my Firefox extensions requires the delete key for a keyboard shortcut that I want to use. So I was trying to have it right beside the control key, (the other key In the shortcut). If you find that silly, that's fine. You are absolutely entitled to your opinion. Have a great day.
I want to move the backspace function to the fn key.
Then I'm out as that is very silly
Thank you
Thank you! I'm gonna take a look at it now!
I have enough trouble remembering what those 3 apple keys do now without remapping them.
