NO APPLE PAY ICON OR OPTION

I have googled this left right and centre. YES my region accepts Apple Pay I have a card set up ready to use for Apple Pay. But why is there NO answer for this ANYWHERE ? in I messaged there is no option for Apple Pay my debit card In my wallet says ready for Apple Pay but my mate is trying to send me emergency funds and it says I can’t accept Apple Pay ? Why? I’m in the uk yes but my card says ready for it ? I have.all other icons in iMessage I click more and it’s no where ? Could it been deleted and if so how do I get it back? please Someone help me with this answer I’m so irritated all I want is to use Apple Pay to get a payment card set up but nothing
