I ordered the 2020 MacBook Air with a custom configuration of 16 GB ram and i7 processor. My order just moved from processing to preparing to ship on Monday. How long does it usually take for it be shipped after this stage, if anyone has experience with this sort of order?
Here's how it went for me. I know when trying to research the same topic as you this is the sort of answer I was looking for.
I ordered a 27-inch iMac with a memory upgrade. The whole process took 13 days for me. I'm sure there are lots of things that can make an order take longer, but this is how it went for me.
Order Placed: July 22nd
Processing: July 23rd
Card Charged: July 25th
Preparing to Ship: July 28th
Shipped: July 29th
Delivered: August 4th

I ordered the base model i3 MacBook Air on 9/5 and it's still processing. I know it says it'll be here sometime this week, but I'm still a little worried.
UPS recently delayed my delivery. Was meant to arrive on Wednesday but they've delayed it (probably till next week)
I ordered my MacBook Pro 2020 13 inch on August 25th. It is now September 14th and it still hasn’t moved from processing to preparing for shipping.

It should move within the next couple of days because I ordered mine on the 20th of august and it shipped yesterday

Did they charge you for your AirPods first as part of the Apple education or was it just me?
They charge you for the Airpods but then take the price of that off the Macbook as they can’t process them for “Free”
Yeah my price when up when I added the AirPods to my month payment so I decided to just not get them

You could a monthly plan to pay your MacBook off in so many months it was in the ways to could pay.
Oh that’s not available here in Ireland
