Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have synced my Audible books between my iphone and my Apple watch. On my watch, I can see books in my library, but when I click on the arrow to play, nothing happens. Can someone please help? Thank you!

I think we’re all experiencing the same problem in the audible app (although for me and others it also won’t play). That’s why I am using “Now Playing” app (Outside the Audible app) as a workaround. Once I select the book in Audible, opening “Now Playing” will both play and controls the audio. I’ve added an image pointing out the “Now Playing” app icon.
I seem to have solved the problem. For the last two days I have placed my AirPods in my ears after opening the Audible App on my phone, and then the Apple Watch controls for the app begin working.
This does not fix the problem so please stop suggesting it. The problem is when you press play on the Audible Apple Watch app nothing happens!
When I reduced my 8 synced books to 3, then it played.
Thank you very much for your feedback. I'm so glad it's helped somebody.
Now, if they could just fix the awful app so we didn't have to jump through hoops to get it to work.

YES! @Momlas, you saved me. I got the watch specifically to listen to books on walks. I was so frustrated.
