I cannot connect to iPhone with cable

I cannot connect the iPhone 11pro Max to the MacBook Air 2017, it is charging, but I cannot enter into iTunes because the iPhone does not appear on the device, it appears and disappears at the same moment more than once, like flashing appears and disappears
