Macbook

I am trying to see which macbook I should buy for college as I am going into the acting but it will just be looking a lot of things up so I am looking at the new 2020 Macbook air with an i5 processor or should I wait and see how much the 2020 macbook pro would be if that comes out this year. I just am not sure which to choose.
