I have a 2007 Macbook A1186 3.1 4gb Ram which has a OS x 10.7.5 . I have tried many ways and versions of updating . The most recent was EL Capitan which failed saying OS 10.11 can not be installed. Is thier something or setting wrong with my Mac? Alternatively can I get a version of any description that will allow me to download to higher versions? I am getting frustrated. Is the App Store the only way to download?
