ipod recovery

I have Ipod 2 generation model A1288.I opened it now.I did not remember the passcode.It is saying ipod is disabled try again in 2 million minutes.I have connected to itunes on pc.but pc saying itunes could not connect because it is locked with a passcode.kindly tell me what I do now.

ipod is disabled, connect to itunes. Then itunes says it cannot help because there's a passcode???!?! My daughter's ipod says "iPod is disabled. connect to iTunes". I have her apple id in itunes but it is saying it cannot communicate with iPod because there's a password. Tells me to answer passcode on iPod but iPod does not give that option. What's a mom to do?!?

Hello,

Unfortunately you must now fully restore your iPod to factory settings.

Please refer to the following Apple Support documents.

If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
