iphone 11 live photo setting?
When opening camera, live photo is automatically going. I want to stop that from being the default first setting, is there a way to do this please?
Thank you

Have you tried it? I have mine turned off and it stays off when I re-enter the Camera app.
Set:
Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings > Live Photo = “on”

Oh yes, I've had the phone since Jan., shot thousands of photos and every single time I open the camera it's on live.
Thank you for your reply but what I want is for live to be off from the get go, only turning it on if I want it. I lose good stills when opening for a quick shot requiring that extra time. Live photos rarely look good as single still shots.
Check out item 2 here - from the iPhone User Guide.
Now you know how to avoid that 😁
Preserve worked. Thank you very much!
Glad that answered your question.
Enjoy your Apple gear.
