My grandson calls me on FaceTime video, and he can hear me, but I can't hear him.

My grandson calls me on FaceTime video, and he can hear me, but I can't hear him. His iPhone audio works fine when he calls me, but not when he FaceTime videos me. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Sound issue with iPad My wife's iPad sound is not working on Face Time - she cannot hear the other party and the other party cannot hear her. When I call my wife on her iPad from mine she can hear me but I cannot hear her. I have checked the places in Settings that seem to relate to no avail. Her audio works fine with Zoom. What is the issue?

Double check here If you can't make a FaceTime call on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
