Disable any key startup on MacBook Pro...

1. Is there any way to disable this useless feature?
2. Is there any other benefit to force this 'feature' on users?
3. Why do big companies make it a point to act stupid on a few issues?

I like to clean my laptop when it is turned off and cold, without worrying about it turning on during cleaning.
