How do I fix the blurred fonts that occur in MacMail v13.4 on Catalina OS v10.15.4? See attached images for what is happening. I have Use Font Smoothing enabled in Settings -> General.

Based on our troubleshooting, it could be a possible bug.
You could try first re-building the application.
To rebuild a single or multiple Apple Mail mailboxes:
To rebuild the Mail app message database:
If this will not work, you can try re-installing the app by re-installing your macOS. But I think it is better to inform Apple about this by contacting their support.
Is font smoothing turned-on on your mac?

Is this just happening on the first two lines or on the exact same spot? Make sure also to update the version of your MacMail.

Is it blurry only only on the Mac Mail application? Have you tried using other Mail Provider?
This only occurs in MacMail. No other applications exhibit this behavior, which makes me think it is a bug in MacMail.
I rebuilt the mailboxes. This seems to have helped. Will keep an eye on it to see if it occurs again.
