Emails disappearing off ipad

I have an eastlink mail account and shortly after i open an email on the ipad's mail app it just disappears. I'm still able to access the emails if i go into the eastlink webmail on the computer but they just keep disappearing off the ipad. I tried contact apple support and they said it was an eastlink issues, but when i contacted Eatlink they said they couldn't do anything since it's on an apple device. Any ideas to fix this? it is on a Ipad Air and just a regular ipad (10.2)
