My disabled iPhone is on airplane mode, it is not connected to iCloud nor iTunes, forget my iPhone feature was off also. I reset my phone and was planning to sell it but my kids messed with it and tried to unlock it the maximum number of times possible. What can i do to access my phone now? It does not have any data so there's nothing could lose. Please help me

Did you carefully read this section, on the article I provided?:
"Restore your iPhone"
Locate your iPhone on your computer.
When you see the option to Restore or Update, choose Restore. The Finder or iTunes will download software for your iPhone. If it takes more than 15 minutes, your iPhone will exit recovery mode, and you'll need to select your iPhone model above and repeat the steps to remove the passcode.

I tried the method you mentioned, it did work kind of. I clicked on restore and update. My phone restarted while my laptop says it is updating, and it says it’s going to take 3 HOURS. Is thy normal? And my phone still says “disabled, connect to iTunes”
The option was to”restore and update” so I clicked on it. Since after then the software has been update in the iTunes on my laptop, but meantime my phone restarted and now it says “disabled, connect to iTunes l”. Has my phone exited the recover mode? Or is it still recovering? Cuz Yh software on iTunes is still downloading
