Touch Screen Unresponsive

Hi I have a couple of issues regarding my iPhone XS.

  1. The touch screen is unresponsive even after a forced restart
  2. Decided to replace my phone, but unable to backup my phone to itunes
  3. Because I have to unlock my phone to use accessories
  4. And I am unable to unlock my phone as my touchscreen is unresponsive

As I am replacing my phone, I would need to backup my phone and also factory reset it.

Is there a way around this?

Please advise.

Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Have you made an iTunes backup previously to any computer you still own? If so, there is a possibility that iTunes can make a new backup using the authorization you gave at the time of your first backup. This would allow you to make a new backup without having to use your touch screen.

Good luck.
