Audio in pages

I have recorded an audio with pages, but when I send it to someone the audio is gone. Is there anyway to embed the audio to the pdf?

No. Not without a PDF editor that supports object (e.g. Audio embedding). You can attach an audio file to an existing PDF using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, but not the same effect.

Only if you know they have a comparable version of Pages. Someone with Pages '09 won't even be able to open a recent Pages file. Or consider just sending a smaller audio file via Mail.
