I am missing my news app

I am missing my news app like the first person who posed this question. No, I did not delete it. That was the answer given. You probably deleted it. I can find it in store and it shows installed, but isn’t showing on my phone. I can click the open button, like I said it is installed if not showing. I get error that restrictions are enabled and they need to be turned off to access the app. I’ve been using screen time since it was introduced and never saw this before. I have disabled all restrictions and tried disabling screen time. No luck. Seems to be a bug in latest update

I found the solution myself. I on a whim switched my region from USA to Venezuela and back to USA. I don’t know if switching to other regions works. I suspect switching back to your correct region is the fix.

It started after recent update.

I first tried installing the app, since it was missing. App Store shows it installed.

Tried launching from there and got the afore mentioned error.

I went into settings and searched restrictions. It came up with screen time. I went in there and disabled restrictions. Same result. Disabled screen time. Same result. Turned screen time back on and explicitly declared News as an allowed application. Same result. Rebooted phone more times than I can count and no change. Symptoms are no icon for News. News shows as installed in App Store, so it hasn't been deleted. When attempt to launch from in App Store using the open button, the aforementioned error appears. The only thing I can think of is resetting the whole phone and starting over. At this time, this is not an option.
