iPhone XR keeps scrolling to top of page

My iPhone XR that I’ve had over a year with no issues has been scrolling randomly to the top in safari and skipping back on Netflix and YouTube. Also I can use the top corners of my phone I have to keep pressing over and over to go back or exit something. Do I need to replace my phone or can it be fixed with an update?
