MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015) battery replacement

Hi —

I found a document on how to replace the battery in a MacBook (https://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/0/MA159/en_US/MacBook_13inch_Battery_replacement_DIY.pdf) and it looks easy. The problem is, I don't know where to buy a battery. The only thing I am finding in Apple Support is instructions for sending the computer away (or bringing it in) to have it replaced. I'd like to do this remotely without being separated from my computer.

TIA for any help with this.

Marie

That document does not apply to recent models with built-in batteries. To replace your Mac's battery start here: https://support.apple.com/mac/repair/service. Your Mac's battery is not user-replaceable.
