Delete a VPN Profile IOS13.3.1

My work purchased an iphone 8 from an online reseller (I don't know who) and I've just not noticed there are 2 old vpn profiles on there that the reseller (or maybe even before them) installed.

Neither profile has a delete profile button. Older posts say that a network reset doesn't remove the profiles.

Any suggestions?

Update: I tried Network reset and it doesnt work. The reason theres no profile delete option is because these profiles were probably pushed to the phone by a company policy I would think.

I can factory reset if i wanted to but prefer not to unless last resource

So, I figured it out.

The VPN Profiles get backed up to icloud as part of the system settings, so when I did my first factory reset, I did a restore from icloud so that explains why the vpn profiles were still there.

I just did another factory reset but no icloud restore and the vpn profiles are gone!

Fortunately, theres hardly anything on this phone so no crying over setting it back up.

Pretty sure its the former. I looked up one of the SSID's and its from a device reseller.

Welp, factory reset doesnt remove the profiles.... any thoughts anyone?

It sounds like the device was never properly prepared for resale.

That or it's actually a 'managed' device that belongs to a company who manages their equipment using an MDM and Apple's Business Manager (formerly DEP) program, which would mean it's actually stolen property.

Put the iPhone in DFU mode (google it) and then restore it as a new device.
