Some things I've looked into and carried out:
- Since posting I reset the Bluetooth on the Macbook but no luck there.
- I went through the document you posted. Unfortunately, it did not help.
- I also tested the mouse on a Dell laptop and had no issues with the mouse. It was smooth and did not stutter.
What's even more annoying now is that the mouse will stop working for a second when I open or close an application. Not all the time but it's happened a few times now.
For example, I was opening Zoom to go to a video chat. Or yesterday I closed Photoshop. Not sure how or why opening/closing an application should mean the mouse stops working for a moment.
Surely, this should not interfere with the functioning of the mouse.
Other things I'll be looking at:
- Wiping the Macbook and starting again from scratch. I have somehow managed to crash the Macbook a few times.
- I'm thinking of taking the mouse into a store to test the mouse on another Macbook Air for comparison.
Any other advice is much appreciated.
