I have for 3 days now been trying to update to 10.5. It starts just fine in the App Store, but never actually updates. Been this way for 3 days. At first I thought it was a storage space issue, but I have 22GB free space on my main drive and still no dice.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Any solutions?

Well, that's it for Logic for me. I'm not leaving 10.13.6 anytime soon.

Problem solved for me. Dropped old Logic into trash (after backing up) and then downloaded.

Make that.... 10.5 on earlier versions of MacOS.
I am running the latest version (10.15.2) of the OS and my App Store detects that I have a purchase tied to my account. I've been using Logic for some years now. I don't think that's the issue.
macos mojave 10.14.2 also not working..now am update 14.2 to 14.6 after i will check ok or not

This is incorrect. Mine says "Open" in the App store, but when I open Logic it is NOT the newest version.
Well just a couple hours later I found out how to install MacOS Catalina on my 2011 MacBook Pro.. Logic 10.5 running fine now ;)

What OS are you running? You need at least Catalina 10.15.
If you have an older Mac and it won't let you upgrade the OS do this:
