Smart mailboxes on iPhone and iPad

Hi there,

i want to start using smart mailboxes and rules but I cannot see them appearing on my iPhone (except VIP).

sone old threads suggest I should be able to... any suggestions? Makes no sense to reorganise like this if not available on phone and iPad...

also I have several gmail accounts (gsuite and gmail). Will they work with smart mailboxes on all devices? And if I tag an email in Apple mail, can that tag go back to google?

i have downloaded kiwi for gmail as an alternative but I love the Apple mailbox and I would prefer to stick here if possible

I don't see any way to add Smart Mailboxes to iOS Mail.

I don't think the two apps are interrelated in much of any way. They both independently access IMAP accounts. It appears they are tied together because of IMAP, not the two talking to each other.
