What happens when my account is deleted?

Are you are trying to activate a phone that never belonged to you or you bought from Ebay?

This being a very peculiar situation I can only provide probable solutions as this cannot be tested by me.

The situation is quite similar to Activation Lock...Activation Lock is designed to keep your device and your information safe in case your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch, or Mac is ever lost or stolen. If you erase your device without signing out of iCloud first, it might still be protected by Activation Lock. Whether you erased your own device or bought one from someone else, you can turn off Activation Lock by entering the correct Apple ID and password.

Try this

If the device is linked to girlfriend's account and they're close by, ask them to enter their Apple ID and password on the Activation Lock screen and remove the device from their account.

If the above doesn't help, try this

If you have iOS 11 or later and your account is protected with two-factor authentication, you can turn off Activation Lock with your device Passcode. Tap Unlock with Passcode, then tap Use Device Passcode.

An iphone backup on a Mac can be restored to any iphone that has the same or newer iOS version. But that would only apply to an activated phone. If you really have deleted her AppleID I don't see how to get round it. This phone is locked out.

If she was the original owner and can prove it then an Apple store may be able to help after the lockdown is released and stores open again.

I just tried SravanKra's GIF (it is a bit fast for me but I watched it 10 times) but anyhow I managed to finally delete my wife's old AppleID so I apologise, you can delete an appleID despite what I have read many times.

However you would have been warned twice to sign out of all your devices and also you would have written down (and re-entered into the screen) a 12 digit code which you can reference when you contact Apple about the old account. That should help with your attempt to get the phone unlocked by Apple.

I know the initial GIFs made by were very fast. I have changed the frame change to 250 ms on my later GIFs.

Alternatively you could have downloaded the GIF and converted it to Movie file using many free apps on the app store.
