Apple magic keyboard bent

Hi team,

I have an the Magic Keyboard and I have just pulled it out of my work bag and it is warped/bent - seems odd, have had for a year with no problems.....hasnt been in the sun or anything different??

Bent Macbook Pro Base MacBook Pro (retina 13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports) The base (keyboard half) is slightly bent. I don’t know why or how this happened. I noticed it accidently while I was closing the laptop down. The problem is only toward the front bottom right corner that won't quite close as you can see. The display is fine. But the laptop is not stable on the desk anymore . I’m very nervous because I’m a professor and I use this laptop just for what it is (supposed to) designed for. Probably using always a case and curring it carefully in my backpack is not enough to prevent this. Should laptops bend so easily? Is there a way to fix this? Any ideas to protect it?

Keyboard repair on MacBook Pro, 15-in., 2017 I stopped by Micro Center (directed there by Apple's website), to see about getting my 'e' key fixed. And they quoted me—brace yourself!—$700-$800 to fix it. What the actual crap?! This Mac is my first and will now be my last Apple product. That is absolute, certifiable insanity to expect customers to pay that much when one itty bitty piece of plastic falls off. I am infuriated! Has anyone else experienced this?! And on a model that Apple themselves admits has a faulty keyboard!
