SMC bricked the Macbook Air (2018 model)

So I've been dealing with this problem of my sister's Macbook Air since yesterday. It all started with macos update 10.15.4 which bricked the device after restart. Tried all possible solutions including resetting the SMC but to no avail. Also tried to restore the BridgeOS using AC2 on my Macbook Pro (2018 model), but failed several times until I finally gave up. But this morning, I decided to gave it another try- only to came up with this error message after few minutes:

"Gave up waiting for device to transition from RestoreOS state to

BootedOS State. [com.apple.MobileDevice.MobileRestore – 0xFA5 (4005)]"

After encountering this error, I removed all cables connected to the macbook air and decided to gave SMC reset one last time. Surprisingly, the mac booted into internet recovery mode. At this point, I was able to reinstall macOS from the internet.

Everything seemed back to normal until I noticed that the keyboard backlight doesn't work so I decided to do another SMC reset (after shutting down). The apple logo showed up for a brief moment and screen went all black. F**k! the MBA is now bricked again. I'm Currently trying to do firmware restoration- again encountering the error 4014, just like yesterday :(

UPDATE:

So I was able to reinstall the macOS after hours of waiting, and the same scenario happened: Keyboard Backlighting, camera and auto brightness doesn't work. SMC reset fixed the keyboard backlight but not the camera and the autobrightness. Wondering however that on diagnostic tool, it says there are no issues, but on system report camera is not detected.
