Do I still need the Trim Enabler app for the third party SSD in my 2012 MacBook Pro running Catalina?

TRIM can be enabled via the command line.
TRIM from terminal
system_profiler SPSerialATADataType | grep 'TRIM'
to enable from your running macOS— a restart is required
sudo trimforce enable
(please note your psswd will not echo, type it in anyway, to proceed use the enter/return key)

Make sure that your 3rd party SSD support the TRIM command first.
