Well, I have also installed (13.5) on my iPhone XS... and the day I install since then my phone battery is draining like crazy, even I am not using and phone is on standby... battery drains in 1 hour (without use) 20%.

I have to charge my phone at least 3 times a day and at the end still kept on (LowPower Mode).

Perhaps unrelated to the update but is anyone also having issues with editing contacts on their iPhone lately? Mine keeps resetting halfway through my edit. I have to make a change, hit DONE quickly, exit contacts and then start again to make the next change in the same contact. I thought this another by-product of the iOS 13.5 debacle but google tells me this issue has been around for all of iOS 13 for some users.

Guys, there is another IOS update released today... (79MB - Security Patch / 13.5.1). ***Please do update

and good news... its brings a new BUG of (Auto-restored) deleted photos from library. ***Push update of serer

regardless where ever the photo was deleted by user... That means at some point users iPhone storage will be full for no more auto-restored. Users delete photos mostly due to keep more active storage in iPhone... otherwise photos taken never meant to be deleted... or just don't take...

Not true, it’s a nightmare. The store associates are extremely rude and can use customer service training. Telephone support is disconnected. Mailed replacement phone (full price) is first charged to your bank then returned weeks later to your bank. If you end up at a certified repair store they won’t know anything about your case and you will have to talk with 5 Apple support agents to rectify to the store. Then there is the problem of store not having the correct part. Also due to c19, good luck getting appointment. Oh, and good luck convincing anyone of you problem. They will treat you as if you are from Mars. Overpriced products with awful customer care.

That has never been my experience with Apple's service. They've always treated me with respect, gone out of their way to help me (did a minor repair on a track pad on a 7-year old MBA for free), explained everything they were doing and gave me reasonably accurate time lines.

Before Apple Stores existed, I used to take my Macs to an Authorized Apple Service Provider. They were also wonderful. They did minor repairs for free, handled warranty work with Apple for me.

Of course, I spent twenty years in retail myself. I understand that it's important to treat retail employees with respect as dealing with the public is very hard. Customers are frequently rude, dismissive and condescending. I try to be pleasant, friendly and respectful. It is rare that I don't get good service with any retailer.

After updating to iOS 13.5 my iPhone 11 Pro Max battery drains excessively. Even when the phone is not in use. It also does not charge. Upon inspecting further, i have noticed that my iPhone charges from 10% to 75% max ony in between 2am to 4am. Which is extremely weird. I have (for the time being) permanently turned off the optimized charging/bttery option. My cousin in US also has updated his iPhone 11 pro max o 13.5.1, and he is also experiencing the same weird battery drainage, no charging overnight, sometimes it charges and sometimes it don't. According to him, he still has not received any response to his request that he lodged a week ago, from Apple support. His next step would be to send his iPhone there or visit himself - but what i have heard from him - they still do not have a solid reason why this is happening to some around the globe. I hope there is someone on this forum who could figure this out or help us in any way. All we can do till then is wait to get a response fro Apple.

Got it, will try the same tonight and will let you know. But please we request a proper solution to this from Apple (so keep this thread alive), as this is not a way to own and use the device from a renowned brand. I owe you a thanks more than an apple support so far coz i’ve got something at-least to try. P.S My iPhone (especially in the state it is now) - PUBG is a dream lol.

This is a user-to-user forum. Apple's participation here is largely limited to monitoring posts to make sure they adhere to the terms of use. There are some employees tasked with answering posts that have gone unanswered for more than 12 hours and which can be answered with a referral to a support article.

Apple does not participate in this sort of discussion. If you want to deal directly with Apple, you will need to contact them. You an start with the "Contact Support" link at the top right of every page of these forums.
