IPhone 11 ios 13.5 itunes airplay bluetooth shortcuts not populating.

Hey all,

I'm having an issue after my recent update a couple weeks ago. I am currently on IOS 13.5. since that update, I haven't been able to connect to bluetooth in itunes via the airplay function. I have to go out to the Settings/Bluetooth to connect there.

anyone else having this issue and found a solution? its not super annoying, but it would be nice for it to populate in the airplay function like it's supposed to.

Hi Scionset,

I understand you are unable to connect to iTunes via Bluetooth in the Airplay menu.

Airplay requires Wi-Fi. If your device running iTunes and your iPhone are on the same Wi-Fi network, it will appear in the Airplay menu. However, to connect via Bluetooth, the device needs to be already connected before it will appear in the Airplay menu.
