Iphone 6s is badly effected by IOS 13.5, have same bug for battery drain problem!!
Nothing improve in this IOS for battery issue.
Apple should consider this issue for batteries..
At least you proved 13.5 was not the problem. Something on your phone is.
The next step would be to restore your device, and setup the device without restoring a backup, to see if the issue is replicated. I would first make sure you have a backup so your data is saved.
Here is a guide for those steps:

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings and see how it goes
If no improvement arrange for repair or replace
If it works well restore from backup but be prepared to wipe again without restore from backup.
Done and done at the genius bar with battery diagnostics. Nothing changed and it wasn’t like this until 13.5 so I’m not convinced it ISNT the IOS .
Very poor obsolescence planning then, as my 6S and 7 have no battery problem.
Well this is not the case as its new phones so i suspect its software problem.
@peter_watt - if folks are out of warranty, this will cost them.
And come to think of it, did your reply factor in that every Apple Store is closed?

5 years is a long time for a phone - kudos/credit to Apple for supporting this long (compared to Android... even Samsung devices).

Draining without use at night even when switched offing
i kept air mood, background off, power off But in all cases it’s draining itself.
I tried to charge all night but no update. It was started after iOS 13.3
Will it solve the issue?
@peter - unfortunately, based on the C.A.LS, you are in the vast minority. Did you happen to watch the senate hearing (testimony) this week? Or read the Wall Street Journal?
It directly relates to this thread - many people are having 1) performance, or 2) power issues.
