My iphone can’t detect my sim number for replying and receiving msg on messages
and also for FaceTime
There are no issues with calling or anything else.
The message section in settings of send and receive does not shows my new number instead it shows my old number!!
i have tried using my sim in another phone it has no issues there .
Remove the old number and add the new one as described here.

Hey ,can’t you see the pic i sent.
I am pretty sure it is clearly showing the same thing , it is showing the old number and that number is not clickable
see before the number it shows a circle symbol which shows it is finding for that number.
And i have done the same thing as mentioned

There is absolutely no part of what I sent in the “Remove your phone number” section above that refers to clicking your old phone number.
Read what I sent carefully and try it again.
Now you say you removed the old number.
In the previous post, you said “it is showing the old number, and that number is not clickable.”
Both cannot be true at the same time.
Indeed your screenshot appears to show some number.
I am saying that this exact thing you said is not happening
for adding new number it wont detect my new number instead show my old one
even if i have removed it form every connectivity
