Apple Music app with access problem

Hi!

I have a problem with Apple Music, i recently used an app called Songshift to transfer my music playlist from Spotify to Apple Music, which worked great, but here's the catch.

The Songshift app needed acces to my Apple Music account which i allowed, but now it won't let my disconnect it.

Tried to disconnect in the Apple Music app on iOS and iPadOS, also on Itunes (Windows), it always showed that it's disconnected but if i go again to the settings than it shows that Songshift has acces to it.

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi balint255,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. As I understand it, you used a third-party app to move content from Spotify to Apple Music, and you're unable to revoke access to Apple Music from the third-party app. Is that right?

Have you tried uninstalling the app in question? How to delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

If that doesn't help, you want to get in touch with the app developer since it sounds specific to their app. While I don't see this issue listed on their FAQ page, the link here does have contact information you can use to reach out: SongShift - FAQ

Take care.

Hi Jameson_H,

Thanks for your reply!

Yes, that's right. That's the problem i'm experiencing.

I have tried to delete the app but it remains attached in the Apple Music app.

I have reached out to the app developers to gain some support there as well, hoping for the best.
