canon printer - spool area full

Printer Problem: I have a Macbook Pro with MacOS Catalina and a Canon Pixma Pro-100. Both purchased within the last 6 months. The black ink shows that it is getting low. The error messages I'm getting are "spool area full", "marker supply low" and printer status shows "operator error, support code 1062". I have not yet replaced the ink cartridges but my last print jobs looked absolutely fine. I've definitely printed less than 100 pages since I bought this printer. Thanks for any insights.
