I often use Pages to create documents that are exported as PDFs, to be shared online. Creating simple hyperlinks is, of course, easy — but when viewed online, the links always open in the same browser window (replacing the PDF).
How can I create hyperlinks that will open in a new window/tab?

Not possible. The Pages Link Editor only deals with valid URL addresses. The ability to force a link to open in a new browser window is controlled in an HTML source document using the target attribute of an anchor tag.

Thanks, Viking. I was afraid this was the case — I’m accustomed to doing it in HTML, and Word has it as an option when inserting hyperlinks, but I couldn’t see a way using Pages.
I shall keep my fingers crossed that this function is added in future updates!
