MY 6 Year Old spent $780 on In App Purchases (Roblox Robux & Tik Tok Coins) and my attempts at getting a refund have not worked. Error message DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR REFUND & ACCOUNT DOES NOT HAVE ANY PURCHASES. PLEASE help.

My 6 year old daughter spent $780 on Roblox ROBUX and TIK TOK coins. These purchases were made Without my knowledge, consent, or approval. I've gone through the following steps and have had 0 success making any progress towards getting these purchases refunded. Does anyone have insight regarding another way to request refunds that I haven't tried yet? Thank you in advance.


First I Tried this

1) GoTo reportaproblem.com...Authenticate, find the order...click order number...click VIEW RECEIPT...Select Request a Refund, Select Purchase was made by a minor.

--This approach did not work. When I selected "Request a Refund" I received a message stating that, "This Order Does Not Qualify for a Refund".


Then I Tried This

2) Find Order Confirmation Email....Click REPORT A PROBLEM....

This approach did not work. When I clicked "Report a Problem" I was taken to a landing page that stated, "This Account Does Not Have Any Purchases".


I've had the same iTunes/Mobile Me/iCloud/.MAC account since 2001. The account has never changed.

First of all, you should delete these apps from your 6 year old so she can’t mess anything up anymore.


Second, you might want to set parental controls, (if you haven’t already) on her device. More info on the official Apple Support Website (support.apple.com)



Third, you might want to set in Family settings for children to have to ask for permission when making in app purchases.

Hey James - Thanks for the reply. I get that this is a user community, I'm just hoping to find someone who has run into the same error message roadblocks and discovered an alternate path to resolution. If I uncover a path to success I'll post here, hopefully to help anyone else that's stuck in this same terrible situation.


The first link you sent outlines the steps I went through in my first attempt. It advises to go to reportaproblem.com...That's where I ran into the "This order does not qualify for refund" roadblock. I'll contact Apple support to see if they can offer assistance. Thanks for sending the links. Cheers - Loel

All great recommendations - thanks for posting. It's absurd that I didn't do all of this straight out of the gates. All I did was to ensure that a PWD was required to execute purchases. She is six, so I figured the PWD I used was irrelevant. That she'd get the password prompt and exit. So, I went with the same PWD that President Skroob from Spaceballs used for his luggage. I guess my daughter figured it out.
