2019 Mac Pro will not boot into Safe Mode

My 2019 Mac Pro will not boot into Safe Mode, (or a regular Boot either).

A few days ago I purchased a Sonnet Allegro Pro USB 3.2 Type A PCIe Card. It was working great!

However, this USB card will not provide power unless you install a driver from Sonnet. I installed the driver and rebooted my 2019 Mac Pro. I was then directed to activate a permission that would allow this driver to function. I did this on the computer and it continue to boot but stalled.

I tried to reboot and it would stall near the end. I noticed that the Sonnet installer came with an uninstaller. The advantage that I have is I know what the culprit is, but I cannot get control of the Mac Pro to run the UnInstaller. I also tried to reset the NVRAM, that procedure appears not to work also, the Mac is acting like the NVRAM was not reset. (The computer did not respond according to what Apple describes in their NVRAM reset procedures.)

I have emailed Sonnet, no answer yet. But I know that the smartest Mac people in the galaxy are on Apple Discussions

Looking for some not too painful options.

Apple wired keyboard works every time.

I agree, in fact in my work I am not allowed to use anything wireless, including keyboards. The problem is, Apple discontinued their wired keyboard about two years ago. Everything is wireless, and when the battery in the keyboard fails to take a charge after two or three years you have to throw it away and get another.

We have been buying genuine Apple keyboards on eBay. A company has cloned the Apple keyboard and we have one on order to try.

My original problem was caused by a corrupt file. Catalina would not allow us to delete the file, Grrrrrrr, so we reinstalled the OS. The 2019 Mac Pro is back to normal.

Thanks to everyone for suggestions.
