Someone sold me a blacklisted iPhone XR , would Apple take it for a trade in for a gift card?

Gift Card Deception I ordered an iphone SE on Black Friday by selecting the gift card option, then purchasing the iphone. I did not receive the $50 gift card and contacted Apple. After hours of trying to get to the bottom of it with Apple, they are saying it only applies to unlocked iphones. Yet, the Apple website clearly states that all iphones are unlocked when buying from Apple. It seems obvious that this gift card offer is extremely and intentionally deceptive. I've been an iphone fan and owner since the original iphone was introduced and a Mac fan for even longer. But I feel they've become greedy and there are better options from more ethical companies. I think I'm done with Apple.

Black Friday promotion 2021 I bought an iPhone 12 on 28Nov2021 which supposedly came with a 50$ gift card. I have not received this gift card & have called repeatedly. The sales rep I spoke with was literally grasping at straws as to why I do not qualify. He has noted, now, that I do not qualify because I financed the phone through Verizon. His initial response was that I did not buy the phone unlocked. There is nothing in the terms about buying a phone unlocked or financing through a carrier. This is a scam. Period. is there an honest Apple employee who reads this post & who can provide me with the gift card I deserve? I have learned my lesson & will never buy directly from Apple again.

Deleted gift card by mistake i purchased a ipad air when there was a promotion by mistake i deleted that email that they send me with the gift card what i can do

That phone would have zero trade in value, so even if they took it the best they’d offer you is to recycle it for free. It’s a useless device. Not to mention you’d be knowingly trying to trade in stolen property.

More likely they will just recycle it. You will get NADA in trade trying to “BURN” Apple.
