Missing toolbar

I can't seem to get my tool bar in Photos any longer, unless I am in Full screen mode. I saw an old post about hovering my mouse at the left edge of Photos, and what to do if I got a cross hair... I get no cross hair, only a 2 directional arrow. Do I have to do projects in Full Screen only?

Please disregard my post of 2 minutes ago. Just figured it out. Just use the arrow to widen view, and the tool bar pops into place. Thanks!
