View/Access Files ‘On My iPhone’ folder in Mac OSX Catalina

Hi. Im running Mac OSX Catalina on my MBP and can now access my iPhone thru Finder.

I was trying to view/access my iPhone’s Files folder thru Finder but can only see some of the folders of the Apps like Acrobat, Word, Excel, Chrome, etc.

For some reason, I couldn’t find the Folders I made on the “On My iPhone” folder in my iPhone. I also have files saved there which are not in a folder and it cannot be viewed or accessed thru Finder on my Mac.

Is there a way to access these files? One workaround I did was just to save it on the Acrobat folder just so I can view/access/copy it to my Mac.

Hello there monstertee,

I understand you would like to access the files from your iPhone on your Mac running OS Catalina. There are several ways to access all of your files on your Mac. It sounds like iCloud Drive might be the best way for you to access these files. You may find the articles helpful:
