my ipad external keyboard is typing double letters

I recently bought a keyboard for my iPad Air 2 but i notice that some letters type double. Letters like e, 7, etc. repeat sometimes. Hard reset does not work... i am on ipad os 13.5 so is this a problem with my keyboard or is it because of the software on the ipad.. Is anyone else having this problem?? If this is a problem with the iPad software then is there any fix for this? please help me. If anyone is wondering i am using a Targus KB55 BLUETOOTH KEYBOARD
