WiFi calling
i am new to iPhones and have a 11pro.
I moved somewhere that my service carrier does not get service so I cannot use my data but I do have WiFi and was told to turn my WiFi calling on. But in order for it to work I need to update my emergency address, all the forums I’ve read have said to go to settings and then WiFi calling and there should be a button that says “update emergency address” and mine does not have that button anywhere!
i am curious if the new iPhones have hidden that somewhere?? I’ve literally been through every setting option searching for the problem! I was even on the phone with my carrier for 3 hours and 3 levels of tech support! And no one could tell me what the issue was!!!
my husband has an android phone on the same carrier as I have and his works just fine! As well as my mother in law who also has an android.
i have also gone into a service zone where when I tried enabling WiFi calling it did give me a page that I can update my address on but when I do and hit continue it just proceeds to turn the setting back off! then when I am back home connected to WiFi I don’t even get that pop up page that lets me write an address.
someone please help I need to make calls!
