iPad Pro 10.5 on reboot loop after updated to IOS 13.5.

Hi,

I have iPad Pro 10.5. After updating to iOS 13.5 my iPad is on a constant re-boot loop every 3-5 min.

I've tried different options even the restore to factory settings but the iPad is still on the reboot loop.

How can I fix it? please help.

Regards

H

Hi to every one,

After about a year of trying to fixed the reboot loop on my wife's iPad Pro 10.5 inch 2nd Gen after updating to ios 13. I tried to update it everytime that there is a new ios up to 13.7. I lost hope and bought my wife a new iPad Pro.

I've been updating it using iTunes on iMac and PC but it still rebooting every 3 minutes.

But today (Nov. 23, 2020), i tried a different approach.

I don't know if it will work for you. But you can try it.

The new ios is 14.2. I have 13.7.

Here are the steps:

Turn off Find my iPad

Signout from iCloud & Appstore

remove lock code & finger print

Turn off Display auto lock

Turn On: Automatic Updates - Download iPad Updates & install iPad Updates

make sure battery is charge to 100%.

"UPDATE it thru Wi-Fi"

it will take a longer time because it keeps on rebooting (for me it's every 3 minutes). Leave it, watch a movie or do something.

And it updated to 14.2 without rebooting. It's FIXED.

After the Update:

"Turn off" Automatic Updates - iPad Updates & Install iPadOS Updates (no more updates for my iPad)

I did not use the back up that i created from the previous ios version. I am scared it might restore the bad files which creating the reboot loop.

I am not sure that it will work for you. But I hope it will help you & others.

If not, I'm so sorry.
