prices not updating on numbers stock chart

The prices come from Yahoo! Finance. You might want to check on the Yahoo! Finance site to make sure there are updated prices for you particular stocks.

Other things to try:

-- Close the document and reopen it.

-- Restart your Mac.

Numbers formulas update when there is a change in the table. If you haven't made any changes the formulas won't have been triggered to update.

Try formatting a currently unused cell as a checkbox. Clicking the box changes its value from true to false (or from false to true) and may be enough to activate the formulas.

(Not tested for this specific function, as my version of Numbers is from prior to the introduction of the STOCK function.)

It has broken again for multiple (but not all) stock quotes. VWRL.AS has not been updated since June 5th 2020. 🙁

There seems to be a problem with some stock quotes. Some updated, some didn’t since 29th of May. For example when trying to look up VWRL.AS, no data is retrievable even though it is a valid ID. This was working before.

As of now, all the stock quotes have updated again. Seems like the issue which lasted ~ a week resolved itself.

Does mac have a replacement for the yahoo finance tool that used to work on dashboard and no longer does
