Outlook for Mac Office 365 - hyperlinks in emails not working after latest Catalina Update installed today

Maybe Microsoft has the answer.

Troubleshooting this issue: I forwarded a message in Outlook to Apple Mail and the Hyperlink worked! It seems that Catalina 10.15.5 doesn't want to talk to MS Outlook on this subject.

I'm having no issues with Outlook at all, and haven't throughout the entire time I've been in Catalina. Both through its updates, and Office's.

Did you try removing Outlook and reinstalling it?

As I stated; through all updates. Yes, I have the 10.15.5 update applied, and the supplemental update. Outlook 365 works as expected.

Have you tested with a new user account to see if Outlook behaves the same way there?

I have just set up a new test user and MS Outlook account. No change in behaviour. Hyperlinks still don't work.

We can not discuss beta OS versions here.

Never, ever using any app that claims to clean your Mac. Every one of them are known to remove files they shouldn't. Clean My Mac is commonly referred to around here as Cream My Mac.

Get rid of it.

The point is Kurt that my information actually helped folks sort their machine. Early release Office updates are not beta software but maybe the same as a golden master.

We are getting close to the monthly update cycle, so I kind of expect to see the official release of 16.38 pretty soon anyway. For the moment, the update history page is still showing 16.37.

Again - I have nothing against it. And also - again - users should be aware they are installing pre-release software.
