Apple ID verification failed

same deal here, punted out of my account on all devices; changed the password to no avail, now when I log into the website it pulls up the dashboard then immediate logs me out as soon as the page posts (~500ms) and tells me my session has timed out.

This just started. I was good all day. When I got home it crashed because it said my “wallet” took my card off. I tried to enter my password and crash again. Now I’m logged out. And can’t log back in. Apple fail big time.

June 2nd around 720 i cant log into my phone at all. I tried to change my password and it says "verification failed" "the application you have selected does not exist."

I have been getting this message too! I'm trying to set up a new iPhone and it keeps asking for my Apple ID password and every time I enter the password I still get this message. must be a glitch in apples servers?

I am getting the same error message . “Verification failed” ; “The application does not exist” ... I cannot create or manage family sharing . I cannot log out of an old device . When I try to manage my Apple ID , it keeps logging me out “for my security” .. please solve this issue !!

After getting this error, I wanted to change my password. Luckily I've came across posts where people couldn't login into their devices. So it'll be just waiting for a fix. Or maybe someone at apple restarted a server???

I've also received an update on all my devices. So updating now.

I am getting the same error. I lost my phone, so I am signing up my apple watch on an old phone of mine and I can no longer sign into my iCloud from any of my computers. My iMac, MacBook Air or my iPhone 6s.

Me too. Then I saw I had a update to download and install. My iPad air 2 is in the process of downloading and installing the update. I don't have another iOS device now to resend a verification code so if the update doesn't work apple should fix our devices for FREE!

Same problem on google app on android, logging in to icloud.com on android and logging in to icloud.com on mac OS. But still have mail on mac OS and used the same login for this discussions.apple.com.

can someone explain to me why this is happening, I can’t make a purchase. I bought an iTunes card earlier, now it’s not letting me purchase the thing I was going to buy!!!! This is frustrating!!! It really is!!! Apple fix the issue!!! I didn’t buy the iTunes card for nothing, there goes my 15 bucks down the drain Smh!!!

I'm on the phone now with Apple Support and they are saying that are there services related to iCloud that are down since 5:00 (I'm assuming mountain time) that is causing this issue. Hang tight is the general resolution for the moment.

I am having this same problem with my 2020 MacBook Pro. I cannot get into any of my devices because I had to change my password and now I get that message on iPhone, iPad, and laptop. Help! I can't accessory email!!!

Realized I was having icloud issues when I tried to make an inapp purchase. It forced me to change my icloud password and then now getting the verfication failed and "the application you have selected doesn't exist" error at sign in across all devices. Iphone, Ipad and Macbook. Started around 4:30 pm PST

I am having the same problem, tried resetting the password multiple times to fix the issue and same error message every time. Please let me know a work around or once it’s fixed so I can move forward. Thanks

I cannot verify my apple id for some reason, i keep receiving an error when i type in my email and password saying “application failed”.

Please let me know how i can fix this.
