Turning off iCloud photos

My iCloud storage is full mainly down to my photos.

I use a 3rd party to back up my photos therefore I'd like to delete all the photos from my iCloud BUT without losing them from my iPhone. I do use shared albums so would like to keep the use of this.

How can I achieve this?
