YouTube App won’t work

Hi there!

My Phone was asking me to update the YouTube app to the newest version, and when I tried updating it would just show up as loading. I tried restarting my phone several times, but it wasn’t working, and stayed that way (loading) for close to a week now, so I deleted the app and when I went to install it again through the AppStore, it would not let me do it, as it continues to show that ‘loading icon’ so I was wondering if it a YouTube thing or my phone is not working properly? None of my other apps seems to have a problem
