Help. New issue. When I try to upload a video to youtube, final cut crashes. Anyone else getting this issue?
Then YT hasNothing to do with it. You're going to need to provide a lot more information. Give the complete specs of the system from About This Mac. Where is the media stored? What exactly are the media specs? What are the project properties? Hire big is the system drive? How much free space on the system drive?

Create a new admin user. Reboot into the new user and test the application with a new project.
Make sure you reset the preferences every time the application crashes?
Do you have third-party plugins installed? How much VRAM?
MPEG-4 is a framework and can be a lot of things, from SD to high resolution in many different codecs.
Thank you Tom for your help. ResetPreferences -EVERY TIME - seems to have been the key for now.
Try exporting an H.264 master file to the desktop. Does that work?
Already tried. Failed.
Copy that. It. seems to be a Final Cut issue. Tried on a second device just now, crashes on export. Will collect info and post.
