Audible Distortion in Right AirPod Pro when using transparency mode on a phone or FaceTime call

Title sort of says it all. I’ll have both AirPod pro’s in and will be talking on the phone or FaceTime with transparency turned on. Every now and again, the right one will distort but only while I’m speaking. It almost sounds like clipping. It must have something to do with filtering out or pumping my voice back in. It doesn’t do it with transparency off and has only been an issue since the latest firmware update. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue. It’s seems like it’s starting to do it quite frequently and I’m afraid it might damage the driver

Darn, I was hoping the helpful button would give me the option to select not helpful. I don't mean to be rude, but this a non-answer. I only went through the trouble of posting to a forum after I had exhausted all of Apple's generic support guides. I was hoping someone might have noticed something after the firmware update as I cannot find anything that matches my specific situation online. I was hoping for a discussion on the discussion board to I can figure out what my options are or if I should just be patient and wait for another firmware update to address the issue.
