Iphone 11 Pro Plus - Can't Open Any Apps, Including Apple Apps?!

All of a sudden my iPhone only opens apps to a black screen. When I try to reset my phone, it just brings up siri. When I plug my phone into charge, it does not show it is charging. I can not turn the home screen off because it just wants to bring up siri.

Iphone 11 pro plus, not even a year old. Is anyone else experiencing these issues?

Force-restart your phone as follows:

Press and quickly release VOLUME UP
Press and quickly release VOLUME DOWN
Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears (usually 30 seconds, but hold for up to a minute before deciding it didn’t work)

You’re welcome! Don’t think about an iPhone as a “phone” - it is a very sophisticated, very powerful pocket-sized computer that can also make phone calls. Like any computer it needs to be rebooted periodically. So the best way to avoid it hanging up like that is to restart it periodically, once a week for example—>Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Thank you, Lawrence. This did help me restart my phone and now apps are working as they should. However, I don't know if this will continue to happen or not. If it does, I will keep this discussion updated.
